Mushroom compost

Our mushroom compost is a mix of chicken and horse manure with wheat straw which is sterilised and inoculated with mushroom spawn. Up to 2 crops of mushrooms are taken from the compost before being released to the landscape market.

With a slight lime content it will raise your PH so should not be used on ericaceous plants.
